Autobiographies, diaries, and correspondence, 1847-1957.

Handwritten autobiographies, diaries, correspondence, patriarchal blessings, and miscellaneous materials. Typescripts and photocopies of many of these items are also found with the collection. Some of the materials have been bound into books. The collection relates primarily to Joab Collier (1855-1918) and Theodocia Keeler Collier (1858-1912). The Colliers were Mormons who lived in Provo, Vernal, and in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joab had many occupations including that of bricklayer. The materials relate to the Colliers and their relatives. The items were also compiled by DeLoy Simpler.
